The restaurant is situated in what is believed to be the town’s original 15th Century listed almshouses. The huge fireplace and exposed oak trusses are just a few of the original features which enhance this unique building accessed from the main reception of the hotel.
Clothed tables, sparkling glassware and cutlery and crisp napkins now set the tone for modern gourmet dining, celebrations and bespoke dinners. The daily cheese selection offers a tempting array of artisan and locally produced cheeses accompanied by ports and brandy to complete the culinary offering.
