The restaurant is situated in what is believed to be the town’s original 15th Century listed almshouses. The huge fireplace and exposed oak trusses are just a few of the original features which enhance this unique building accessed from the main reception of the hotel.
Clothed tables, sparkling glassware and cutlery and crisp napkins now set the tone for modern gourmet dining, celebrations and bespoke dinners. Diners are able to choose from à la carte or the Taster Menu which provides something for everyone. Those wanting traditional fine food may choose from the À la Carte menu whilst those wanting a tasting experience can enjoy either 5 or 7 courses of food that will excite your taste buds.
The daily cheese selection offers a tempting array of artisan and locally produced cheeses accompanied by ports and brandy to complete the culinary offering.
