You can visit a number of National Trust properties including Wilderhope Manor, a beautiful Elizabethan manor house, Attingham Park or Benthall Hall. If that's not enough there are more than a dozen English Heritage sites such as the castles at Clun and Stokesay. English Heritage claim that Stokesay is "simply the finest and best preserved fortified medieval manor house in England".
There are any number of beautiful towns and villages including the market town of Bridgnorth which Charles 1st said “offered the finest view in all his Kingdom”.
