EXPLORE SHROPSHIRE
WALKING IN SHROPSHIRE
As Much Wenlock’s name suggests, it sits at the base of the historic escarpment that is Wenlock Edge, which offers wonderful walking. Just a little further afield, within half an hour’s drive, you will find the majestic Long Mynd and Carding Mill Valley and beyond that the Welsh Marches, Offa’s Dyke and Oswestry Hill Fort.
If you want easier walking with equally stupendous views, you may choose to stroll along the Llangollen Canal with its famous and dramatic aqueducts at Chirk and Pontcyslite.
